3. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be? Ellen, she’s triumphed over so many issues in her life and she’s a role model for many women.
4. Daydream of the moment? Clean house, kids in bed…reading!!!
5. Your personality in one word? Busy
6. Are you more garden or gun? Garden all the way!

9. What do you want to do when you grow up? Own my own photography business and stay at home with my OWN kids! (I teach 1st grade currently)

12. Most treasured possession? My wedding ring. It represents the love I have for my husband and the love we share for our two girls.

Crawling and Teething...Geesh!

Last Sunday, February 19th, I was changing Lily's diaper and noticed 2 top teeth poking through her upper gum! She had been fussy and only wanted to be held the last couple of days! I figured out why!! Two teeth at a time. Since then she's been doing fine! I will try to take a picture!


Last night, February 24th Uncle Bubbie, Aunt Lyndsey and Baby Ella came to Austin to visit! They will be her for almost 10 days! Ella is such a sweet baby! She's even trying to teach her cousin how to crawl! Lily was trying to move from a sitting position to a crawling stance! She was rocking back and forth trying so hard! Once she got on her hands and knees she would squash out on her belly. Then she just spins herself around and grabs what she can! In no time she will be movin' and groovin'!

Hh is for...







Half-pint Happy Hour!! Lyla had a friend over and they insisted on using the Tea Set for serving their juice! They were so funny! They talked about the food they were eating and said such hilarious things. I heard, "Yeah, I like carrots but only at school."

Gg is for...
Gross stomach bug!! Poor Lyla she started feeling yucky last Wednesday. She pretty much stopped eating then by Thursday morning, at school of course, she started running a fever! Daddy stayed home on Friday with her and she seems to be on the mend! All she wants to do is lay on the couch and watch TV! Oh, and drink milk but we've been limiting that!

This tutorial is fabulous if you have dreams of shooting in Manual! I figured I might as well give it a try! It is why I upgraded my camera!

Also, I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on Amazon for $50!! I had a gift card so it was worth it!! I'm so excited to have even more possibilities! I love Lightroom but now I'll have both programs!! I can't wait!

8 months old...

Oh my goodness...SLOW DOWN TIME!! I can't believe my sweet baby girl is already 8 months old! She's been busy this past month! Here's what's been going on...

She's eating solids like a champ!
We've started introducing meats! YUM! She doesn't like them!
She's experimented with a sippy cup and apple juice...she spits it out!
She had a heck of a time getting over Pneumonia! Thank goodness for Probiotics!
She's started sleeping through the night again! (Knock on wood!)
She's moved up to size 3 pampers cruisers! They have the cutest Sesame Street babies on them!
She can sit up all by herself!
She scoots backward when she's on her belly!
She's just started feeding herself cheerios!
We've had to let her "cry it out" at nap times and bedtime! It's soooo hard!
She's wearing 9 months clothing! Size 3 shoes!
She "says" ma ma ma! YAY!!! This is just babbling not actual talking!
She loves going to Ms. Laura's on Thursdays!
Daddy is out getting her a convertible carseat as I type! No more lugging her around in the infant carseat!
She weighed 18 pounds 12 ounces on January 24th at the doctor's office!
She loves going on walks with her Nana!
She loves going shopping with Mommy in the sling!
She loves sitting up in the bathtub!
She's started taking a pacie again!!
She pulls my hair, my earrings, my clothes!
She loves to hear her big sister laugh!


I sure do love my little sweetheart!!
