More Spring Break fun...

We had a great spring break and a busy week back at work! Lyla went to the rodeo with Ms. Laura and her crew! They had a great time and came home with little pig noses! How funny! Lyla's favorite song to sing is "Old Macdonald". She does the E-I-E-I-O part, except it's more like E-O-E-O! She increases her vocabulary every day and is constantly talking! She loves to remind me when we go places to get the "keys". She is also starting to repeat phrases. Almost anything we say is repeated. We're still working on "I love you"! She just tells us "bye-bye" or "nite-night". Anyway, here are some pictures of our adventures over spring break. We did some planting and played outside alot. Lyla's little knees were totally skinned up, but she didn't care. It just reminds me how much I look foward to beinging home for the summer and not having to worry about bedtime! Home on the Range...

Yesterday we went to the Rodeo with a few of our favorite friends! We had such a good time! After Mommy got her cash situation all figured out...Thanks Jenn and Kristin... we went to the Kid's Town Tent! There was a petting zoo, a milking demonstration, pony rides, a puppet show and a fun place to play on little tractors! Before we left we had to check out the pig races! The pigs were so cute and it was hilarious to watch!

Ok, so I got some new toys and have been cramming my head full of information! So here's the end product...so far! Picture #1 (bottom) is straight from my camera and Photo #2 (top) is the edited version!! Second set of photos is the same way, top=edited, bottom=straight from my camera!

Rain, Rain, Go away!

Here are some new pictures of Lyla over the weekend when it was beautiful! I'm also including a few pictures of her and her first pig tails! Lyla's new words of the week are pooh-poo, snack, eat, and the phrase of the week is.... Bye-bye baby!

18 month milestone!

Wow, I can't believe that in less than 6 months my sweet baby will be 2 years old. The baby bug has been biting me alot lately because of this! Lyla is doing so much! She repeats EVERYTHING! Her latest words are nigh-night, walk, park (which are pronounced wa-k, pa-k), bath, potty, diaper, and good girl. She also understands everything. So when she ignores us we can tell! Her latest thing is biting! When she doesn't want to do something, i.e. hold my hand in the grocery store, she tries to bite! What a stinker. I'm uploading some pictures I took of her yesterday and on her 18 month birthday! What a blessing she is!

My Big Girl Chair...

Here's a few pics of Lyla in her big girl chair. We went shopping on Saturday and got it to replace the high chair. She loves it and feels so grown up with her new seat, placemat and plate!! Next obstacle...diapers! So the pictures won't upload...I will try again later!
