Teething...

I don't think we're quite ready for this! After day two of little "Nellie No-Napper" we gave up! TJ took Lily for a ride in the car. He need to fill up his gas tank anyway! Last night Lyla spent the night with Nana and Papa. So, you would think, so did I, yay, we get a grown-up night after Lily goes to bed. WRONG! Guess who just couldn't live/sleep without her Mommy or Daddy?!? Lily watched the movie with us and continued her Night Owl party until 1am! So that being said, does anyone have any suggestions to sooth my sweet girl?

Possibilities...

Christmas card photos always get me excited for the holidays! For the past 4 years it hasn't been too hard to get a good one of the three of us! Now, add in a fourth person and uh oh! It becomes very difficult! Here are some possibilities...

T'was the night before Thanksgiving...

and all through the house,
not a child was stirring,
not even a dachshund!
The cranberries were cooked,
with love and with care,
in hopes that our trip tomorrow
will be fair.
When what did my wonderous camera lens behold,
but two children who didn't do what they were told!
Taking care to dress them and top them with bows,
while we waited for daddy so he could get those!
We sat in the grass and the baby did slump,
Lyla kept her eyes closed and smiled like a chump!
So we tried one last time to get a family picture,
but we will have a redo session in the near future!

1st try at Christmas pictures...FAIL!

The turkey is out...

Every year we take pictures of the girls with Momo's Turkey! Bryana is at UTSA so she was not there for the picture so we'll have to take another one on Thanksgiving! Here's a picture of Brooke, Lyla and Lily before we went to Wurstfest in New Braunfels!

Lily's 5 month bare bottom!!

Oh my goodness!! I love the little chubby booty! She is a bigger baby than Lyla was at this age. Lily weighs some where around 16 pounds. Lyla weighed 16 pounds at her 1 year well check! So, Lily has lots of rolls and wobbly bits!! She's so cuddly and scrumptious!!

At 5 months she...
Is eating whole grain rice cereal with formula mixed in!
Tried sweet potatoes for the first time!
Does not love the bumbo...mainly because her chubby little legs are too fat for it!
Drinks 4 ounces of milk in her bottles at one time but eats every 2-3 hours!
Loves laying on the floor and "talking" to us! She gets really loud!
Tolerates big bows! Yay!
Is quickly outgrowing her 6 month pajamas! She still fits in her 6 month clothes.
Loves jumping in her jungle jumpy! aka the Jumparoo
Did not love her first ride in her backward facing convertible carseat.
Gets really scared and cries hysterically when someone sneezes.
Does not like loud noises in general...she'll have to get used to it!!
Went to Wurstfest for the first time!
Loves to ride in her stroller to the mailbox!
Has started (knock on wood) a little routine for herself!
Loves to play with her sister! She smiles and talks to her all the time!
She loves bath time!! Hates lotion time!
Has made her own bedtime routine...nurse, rice cereal, formula bottle, bath, nurse, sleep!

She's a wonderful baby and she has stolen our hearts!!
