8 weeks..

Today is a big day in the Caballero house! Lily is 8 weeks old today. It is also Nana's birthday! We took Nana to Panera for lunch! Girls lunch!! Then in the evening we went to The Salt Lick to enjoy some BBQ! The temps in Austin have been super hot but we had some cloud cover (Thanks to Tropical storm Don) that cooled things down! We sat outside while we waited and enjoyed cold beverages! Happy Birthday Nana!! We love you!!

7 weeks old...

My baby is getting so big! I've started to think about all the things we've experienced that we may never experience again. Newborn cries, tiny body, baby smells, bringing home a baby from the hospital, the feeling of accomplishment after you give birth and many more firsts. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of milestones and stages to look forward to. We'll see what life brings and...I started to write if we are blessed with another child. We are blessed, so blessed, to have two happy, healthy little girls. We'll see if our blessings will multiply in the form of more children, specifically one more. For now, I have beautiful pictures to remind me of the blessings I am so thankful for now!

6 weeks old...

I just can't believe six weeks has flown by! My little monkey is getting bigger everyday! Soon we should see a real smile! Lyla loves taking a bath with her little sister and holding her as much as she can!

5 weeks old...

Today Lily is five weeks old! She's given us a few smiles and has spent a lot more time awake! She loves her baths, hates her pacie but prefers her thumb if she can get it in her mouth! She enjoys car rides and seems to tolerate all of the love her big sister gives her! We absolutely love having Lily in our lives and can't imagine what our family would be like without her!

Fourth of July...

Well, no fireworks for Lily's first fourth of July! Central Texas is in an exceptional drought...even worse than extreme! We haven't had rain (until tonight) in many, many months! We will need buckets of rain to improve the drought conditions! So, we went to a few parties and shared good times with friends!

Four weeks old or One month...

We had an at-home (mommy) photo session on July 1st! Lily was 4 weeks old that day. She will be one month on July 3rd. She's getting so big! She can lift her head by herself and sometimes we get a little grin...mostly gas, but hey, we can hope! Here are her cute pictures!

Blog Blues...

I'm testing something...
I think something is going on with my computer upstairs. For the last 3 1/2 weeks I've tried to post items, pictures and words. Nothing will post. So, I'm trying to post this on the laptop. The laptop does not belong to me so I can't upload pictures and try to post one.

If you've been waiting for an update and new pictures of the super models at my house, I'm sorry! Hopefully we'll get it figured out soon!
