March: Spring break...paint Lily's room! Big Sister Class at the hospital!

April: Lyla starts soccer! Daddy turns 33!

May: Little Lily keeps us on our toes...momma goes has contractions at 33 weeks and is hopitalized for two days. Bedrest kept momma at home for the last 3 1/2 weeks of school!

June: June 3, 2011 at 10:01am Liliana Olivia is born via C-section in Austin, Texas!

July: Celebrating the 4th as a family of four! Baby Ella Kate is born on July 1,2011 to Brandon and Lyndsey. Yay for a cousin!

August: Brandon, Lyndsey and Ella come to visit! School starts back... Momma turns 31!

September: Lyla turns 4 with a party at the splash pad!

October: First Halloween! Lyla was a doctor and Lily was a ghost!

November: We celebrated Lily's first Thanksgiving with Momo and Popo in New Braunfels!

December: Lily is 6 months! We headed to Arizona to spend Christmas with Brandon, Lyndsey and Ella! Lily started running a fever on Christmas day and was diagnosed with Pneumonia on the 26th!

Tonight we are rounding out this wonderful year by celebrating with our neighbors, who recently sold their house :(! What a great way to end this wonderful year! We pray for abundant blessings in 2012 for all of our friends and family! May God bless each of you with his grace!

Merry Christmas!

24 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

On Christmas Eve we sat outside at Brandon and Lyndsey's around a roaring fire. It was nice to relax and just talk!

Aunt Lyndsey has adopted a kitty. By adopted, I mean "Kitty" comes around in the morning and in the evening to eat! She's a very friendly kitty that Lyla just loved! She loved to play outside with Kitty and help Kitty get comfortable on the blanket. When Kitty would disappear Lyla would say, "She's on an adventure."

Aunt Lyndsey got stockings for all of us! On Christmas Eve she got out paint, fabric and glitter. Lyla, Aunt Lyndsey and I sat around the table decorating the stockings so Santa could fill them that night!

Day 23 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

On our first full day of our visit in Arizona we did a lot of preparing for the big guy! After Aunt Lyndsey made her cookie plate with peppermints she made sugar cookies!! All of her great, and cute, ideas have come from Pinterest! We <3 Pinterest! In the afternoon we, Lyla, Lily, Lyndsey and I walked to the park just down the street. We had a great time swinging and sliding! I just took pictures!!

Day 22 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

Day 22 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

We arrived in Phoenix and I've taken a massive amount of pictures on my phone! I need to get out my camera and start taking pictures with it! We're enjoying our holiday together! Our 15 hour drive took us a little over 17 hours with 2 long stops both days! It was totally worth it! I'm so glad that we will all be together for the babies' first Christmas! Merry Christmas Ella Kate and Liliana Olivia!!

Day 17 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

Today Lyla, Nana and I went to see Beauty and the Beast at Bass Concert Hall on the University of Texas campus. We had tickets for the 2pm show so we left early enough to go to lunch! It was so fun! We got dressed up, took pictures and headed to lunch at Chez Zee. We enjoyed our fancy lunch of Salads and Grilled Cheese! Our seats were pretty good and Lyla liked watching the show. Surprisingly, the show has more songs and a few different parts than the Disney version! We saw all of our favorite parts!! We decided that our Girls Day needs to be an annual Holiday tradition!!

Day 16 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

Today marks the beginning of 14 days off!! WAHOOOOOO!!! We had our class parties on Thursday and Polar Express/Pajama day today! I also brought home all of my loot! As teachers we get great gifts! This year I am devoting this post to my favorite gift! I don't usually pick favorites nor do I comment on any public forum about the gifts I've been given but I have to this year! My favorite is... a beautiful Owl Mug from West Elm! I absolutely love it! I am a huge fan of large coffee mugs and I can't wait to use it tomorrow morning! (and every morning during winter break!) It's washed a ready to go!

Day 15 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

On Thursday (December 15th) one of my besties had a Pinterest Gift Exchange party! The idea was to bring a gift you made/found on Pinterest. I made a t-shirt scarf. I will post a picture of one on another day! We snacked on munchies and drank wine like water! The Daddies were in charge of the kiddos for the night! We had such a fun time! I got a really great crocheted bag that my neighbor Kate made! I can't wait to use it!

Day 14 of {25 Posts of Christmas}

I was inspired to take this picture by a pin on pinterest! The photographer explained exactly how to take this picture. This was my first attempt at shooting in manual. So...I will be trying again! There is a twinkly effect from the lights but it's still a sweet photo of my girlies! I plan on taking this picture every year to watch my babies grow!
