Lily O is 4 months...

Yesterday my Lil-a-bug turned 4 months old! She had her 4 month well check as well!
Weight: 14 lbs 8 ounces (75th percentile)
Height: 25 inches (78th percentile)
Shots: 2

Milestones:
She can roll from her back to her stomach! (Aug 25, 2011)
She GIGGLED for the first time yesterday! (October 4, 2011)We were at the doctor's office and Lyla called her a chicken nugget! We laughed and so did Lily!
She loves to talk to us!
When she cries it sounds like she is saying "Ma Ma"! (YEAH!!)
She holds her head up!
She loves Tummy Time!
She wears size 2 diapers!
She wears 3-6 month clothes!
Her hair sticks up in the back just like peacock feathers!
She loves baths!!

Here are some pictures of Lily's first adventure in the Bumbo. She's able to hold her head up and she loves to look around! She especially loves to talk to her sister when she sits in her bumbo at dinner with us!

These pictures were taken during a "session" with their cousin Ella on August 28th! Don't they look precious in their coordinating dresses! Too bad I didn't think to grab a bow for Lily! I love the one of Lily looking at the camera too! It stinks that I was too busy trying to get her to look at me instead of getting the girls in focus!

Lyla's 4th birthday party!

Lyla turned 4 years old on September 5th. She started her day with a sprinkle donut!! After breakfast we gathered all of the party supplies and headed to the splash pad! Lyla had a Mermaid party at the Quarry Splash Pad! She was so excited for all of her friends to come and celebrate her birthday! Nana made chocolate cupcakes that had candles on them to spell "Lyla". She even had a little "4" on her cupcakes too! After Lyla ate her cupcake her best friend Nolan helped her bury the 4 in the "sand" i.e. crumbled cake. Her favorite part of the splash pad was the sand area! We partied in the sun for a long time! After we got home she opened her presents and played with her new toys! She really enjoyed the cupcake decorating set her Uncle Brandon, Aunt Lyndsey and baby Ella got her! That evening we went on a toy/present run to Toy 'R Us and Target! After successfully buying a new leapster game for the big 4 year old we headed to Moonie's for dinner! Burgers and time with family was a great way to end a fun birthday!! Happy 4th Birthday, Lyla Jane! Love, Mommy and Daddy

Birthdays...

Wow, this is always a busy week at our house! Momma turned 31 on Wednesday, Lily will be 3 months tomorrow (Sept 3rd) and Lyla will be 4 years old on Monday (Sept 5th)! With school starting it's difficult to get on the computer to update the blog! My goal is once a week! So, I will post, pictures or no pictures! I will eventually add pictures! Especially of my sweet babies! My camera will be super busy this weekend with Lyla's birthday and her party!
