12 weeks old...

Lily turned 12 weeks old yesterday! She survived the first week of Mommy back at school! She's doing so many things now! She talks to us, smiles at us, moves around a lot in her crib and she can even roll over from her back to her belly! She's such a good baby! We laugh because she's not a cryer, she just yells at us!!

Lily has also enjoyed playing with her cousin Ella this week! Brandon and Lyndsey came to spend a week in Texas! We loved having them here and we are sad that they are headed home today! We look forward to the thought of them moving to Texas!!

Lyla's first dentist visit...

Today Lyla had her first ever dentist appointment. She did pretty good for the most part. At one point she did refuse to open her mouth and she didn't like the idea of Ms. Jenn, the hygentist, putting ANYTHING in her mouth! After Dr. Hobbs looked in her mouth real fast she was able to pick a new toothbrush, yellow of course, a sticker and a toy for their toy chest! She keeps telling me that she will let Dr. Jenn wash her mouth next time!

P.S. Lily hated the dentist. She cried the whole time!!

Play day with Daddy...

TJ took the day off to stay home and have a play day! We began our morning at 6:23am with an early feeding. Lily went back to sleep at 7am and Lyla woke up shortly after that. She crawled into our bed and I turned the TV on for her. TJ got her some cheerios and milk. She laid in bed with us and watched Beauty and the Beast. It was on the Disney Channel at 7am! Wow! We finally got up around 9am and Daddy made Saturday breakfast for us! TACOS! We finally got around to taking some pictures of Lily with TJ before we realized what time it was! We had planned to go to a fun new pool in Cedar Park but it didn't open until 1pm. So we headed to the new Splash pad at the Williamson County park. It was great! Lyla did not want to come home! Here's a few pictures from our fun day!

9 weeks...

My sweet lady!! What a big girl! She holds her head up for longer periods of time these days and tolerates tummy time!!

Daddy/Daughter dance...

Tonight Lyla and T.J. went to their very first father/daughter dance. It was sponsored by the youth group at our church. They got to have yummy treats, play games and of course dance! This was perfect for both of them. Lyla got her Daddy's dancin' genes! I will post pictures as soon as I upload them. T.J. took a video of her dancing so I will post that too!
