Father's Day

For Father's day we celebrated with Papa and Popo on Saturday. Then on Sunday we had our own celebration! We got Daddy a new gas grill! Now he can grill dinner in no time!
I am so blessed to have a husband who is a great father and a wonderful Daddy! With the addition of another daughter our hearts are overflowing with happiness as we celebrate today! We love you TJ!

Two weeks old...

Liliana is growing fast! At her two week appointment she weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces. Not quite back to her birth weight. She was 20 1/2 inches long. She grew a whole inch in about 10 days!! We began supplementing her feedings with formula to help her gain weight and four days later she weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces! Lily goes back for a one month well check to make sure she continues to gain weight!

One week old!

Lily was one week old on Friday, June 10th. She's such a good baby and fits into our family so well!

Our girls...

Words cannot express how full of love and joy we feel as we look at our little girls! They are both so precious and I can't imagine a life without them! Our family is so blessed to have beautiful, healthy children! We thank God everyday!

Lily's Birthday!!!

It's 4:47am, I've had 4 1/2 hours of sleep and I can't wait!!! Lyla spent the night at Nana and Papa's so she didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn with us! We will leave for the hospital around 6:30am. So, I'm going to take a shower and get ready...yes, get ready! I figure this time around I might as well look nice! We can't wait to see who Lily looks like and how much she weighs!
TJ gave me a beautiful new watch to commemorate this event! It's gorgeous! He's so sweet to think about doing something special for me! My girls are so lucky to have such a great Daddy!

Tomorrow is the day!!

Tomorrow morning we will check in at the hospital at 7am for a 9:30am c-section. I've packed Lyla's overnight bag that she will take to Nana and Papa's and my bag is ready to go! I've got baby clothes (for pictures, of course), blankets, pacies and big sister surprises! I just can't believe tomorrow at this time I will have two girls!!

Patience...

I don't have a whole lot! I'm not a patient person so, the "waiting for baby" thing is super difficult for me! So, I think I'm going to give myself a project. Post something everyday! Today I am going to post pictures of Lyla's last soccer game. The kids got a trophy and had a little pizza party next to the field. We're still not sure if soccer is Lyla's sport but she participated more and more as the season progressed. Here are some pictures from the field!
