This year's Photography goal...

My plan was to start another 365 project. We were out of town and yada, yada, yada...I didn't start it! Then someone suggested doing a "two on the 2nd" kind of thing. We were traveling on the 2nd so I decided that they 22nd would be perfect for us! Instead of just a picture of my two little ladies I am going to do "A Day in our Life". So today I toted my camera every where we went! It was not a typical day for us. Lyla, Lily and I stayed home from school. Lily had a virus that she was getting over and Lyla had a 7 year old well check appointment. So we began our day at 7:15am with a wake up call from Lily! Her overnight diaper (this kid can't stay dry) leaked so we had to strip her bed! Early morning laundry! Notice, no pictures yet! Yup, I forgot it was the 22nd! So the girls and I had breakfast then did a little Zumba! After Zumba I checked my email.

Week 2...

So I've restarted this project. This week I'm staying committed to editing and posting on Sunday night! My hope is that it brings my heart so much joy to see these images from the week that I keep going no matter what. I love having these memories!

2014...

Goals...They are always the same.  Sometimes a little bit different.  Mostly the same.  This year I have personal goals.  Such as…get healthy, be a more intentional facilitator of learning in my classroom, reflect on my blessings, daily prayer and be thankful.

I also have goals for photography…
1.  Complete a Project 365.  A picture a day to capture the lives of my girls, my husband and I.
2. Get in front of the camera.
3. Still image photography.  Mainly my girls' toys.
4. Nail Exposure and White Balance in camera.  Completely master manual.
5. Print more pictures.
6.  Capture my blessings and the blessings of others.

I'm sure the list of both goals will be extended or revised as the year goes on.   For now, here's the beginning of my Project 365. {January 1-5}

The Best of 2013...

In my opinion.  My goal for 2013 was to take a picture each day for the whole year to document the lives of my foursome!  We'll, I got a little burned out around July…I did my best to keep going.  I promise I have taken pictures I may not have edited all of them...yet!  I was lucky enough to get a new camera in August so the learning curve slowed me down!  Here's a review of our year!  These three melt me!
